Vaison-la-Romaine in Haut-Vaucluse, a few kilometers from Mont-Ventoux, the “Giant of Provence” welcomes you every summer for the “Vaison Danse” festival. Every July, the ancient theater is the magical setting for the Vaison Danses festival. Dating back to the 1st century AD, the ancient theater is nestled in the greenery of the Puymin hill. But the ancient theater is not the only vestige of Vaison-la-Romaine’s prestigious heritage.
Vaison Danses aims to become a special place and time for exchange and sharing between artists, spectators, passers-by, tourists, Vaison residents… where everyone can have access to contemporary, lively culture.
