Golf Grand Avignon was designed by architect Georges ROUMEAS with the help of his friend, the great champion Jean GARAIALADE. The 18-hole, 5828-meter, par 72 course features a 141 slope with white tees.
It’s a flat Florida-style course with numerous water hazards and a wide variety of holes. It’s physically very pleasant to play, not tiring even on hot summer days, and the water driving range maintains this cool atmosphere.

In the Mediterranean climate at the heart of Provence, the beautifully maintained course offers splendid panoramic views of Mont Ventoux and the Alpilles. The 18-hole course is laid out on flat ground, but the presence of numerous water hazards and out-of-bounds hazards seriously complicates the game!
There are 6 totally dry holes, while water is in play on all the others. From the tee on holes 1 and 3 to the green on holes 4, 9 and 15, water is undoubtedly the golfer’s most serious enemy on this course. This golf course can become all the more difficult if the wind regularly invites itself into the game.
A large putting green, a pitching green area and a clubhouse restaurant with a large terrace are just some of the facilities on offer, providing a convivial place to share course stories.
Last but not least, a curiosity in keeping with the style of the house is its practice area overlooking the enormous water obstacle, the only place where you’re not penalized for putting the ball in the water!
