Egobike in Malaucène, Mont Ventoux: one region, one story
EGOBIKE was born in 1992 at the foot of Mont Ventoux.
Founded by Olivier Brunaud, originally in Bédoin at the foot of Mont Ventoux, this structure was created to meet the needs of mountain bike enthusiasts.

The EGOBIKE story
From the outset, the aim was to structure the mountain bike activity and enable regular
riders to improve their skills.
The chosen priorities were a mountain bike school, the organization of MTB/road and outdoor events, training courses and organized rides, and support for top-level athletes.
It was the work of a whole team that led to the creation of TEAM EGOBIKE in 1992 and the organization of the 1st ever French Cup at Malaucène Mont Ventoux in 1995.
Very quickly, the progression of the athletes, who at the outset were only regional, enabled the team to become one of the best in France, with the added bonus of selections to the French team and international results.

The organization of courses and hikes for the public is a way of reaching out to everyone by introducing them to our activity and the sites of our fabulous region.
Organizing events is a passion, but above all it’s an obligation for the development of our discipline! Training and education are priorities developed or associated with all our actions.
This is the synthesis of the word Egobike represented by its fetish Indian who comes from the Rockies where the Mountain Bike was born, which
defends the same values: tribe, nature, discovery and generosity in life but also in effort!!!!
Today, after more than 20 YEARS in business, EGOBIKE has become a label, a brand, a state of mind.
Races: Trek Ventoux Xtreme Mtb Raid
A unique route with timed special stages.
The event
The TREK VENTOUX XTREME MTB Raid 2017 is organized by the EGOBIKE association, Mairie de Bédoin, 301, av Barral des Baux BP 60007, 84410 BEDOIN.
This is a physically and technically demanding stage raid.
The test
The Raid is run in teams of two competitors and consists of timed special stages and untimed liaison sections.
It is open to four categories of riders:
1- Men (including Espoir, Master 1, Senior and Junior)
2- Masters (Masters 2 and 3)
3- Mixed Male/Female (all categories from Junior upwards)
4- Women (all categories from Junior upwards)
Each team is classified in the category of its youngest member (e.g.: if a male rider is 45 and another is 30, the team will be classified in category 1).
