Located in Mazan, in the heart of the Vaucluse department, in an area classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, Le Château la Croix des Pins is ideally situated between Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail.
Château la Croix des Pins was one of the very first estates to obtain the “BIO” label in 1998.
In 2010, a new team led by Jean-Pierre Valade took over the estate. They will breathe new life into Château La Croix des Pins and strive for excellence in wine-making. To achieve this, new grape varieties will be planted in the vineyard. An exceptional barrel cellar will be created in the Château’s cellars. New equipment will be installed to enable parcel selections and the separation of different grape varieties.
To fully immerse yourself in the place and its history, Château La Croix des Pins can also accommodate you in its comfortable 4-star gîtes with swimming pool.
AOC Gigondas Ventoux wines
The estate stretches its 33 hectares of vines between these two remarkable sites and produces wines in 3 different appellations: Ventoux, Gigondas and Beaumes de Venise, all passionately crafted according to the principles of organic agriculture. It produces organic wines with total respect for nature and biodiversity.
Château la Croix des Pins offers a unique range of ORGANIC AOC Ventoux, AOC Gigondas and AOC Beaumes de Venise wines, divided into 3 main families: Crus, Ventoux and Vins d’Anthologie. The latter refers to exceptional old vintages and wines vinified using an original or unique method.
As you taste our different cuvées, you’ll discover our passion for bringing you the greatest emotions. The doors of our tasting room, which has been awarded the “accueil d’excellence” label, are open to you for increasingly rich and colorful tastings.
